After School Club
The after school club will run from 3.15pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday at Lewes YMCA, Westgate Street during school term and is open to all 4 to 11 year olds.
Our qualified and experienced staff will have a range of fun and stimulating activities on offer which will include arts, crafts activities, cooking, sports, indoor and outdoor games either in our gym or enclosed garden or free play with their friends in a safe and secure environment.

A Typical day
- 3.15pm Pick up from school, walking bus back to Lewes YMCA
- 3.40-4pm On arrival Fresh fruit/water offered, settle in drawing, board games, Lego, play dough or books.
- 4pm Start today's activity -see sample programme
- 4.30-4.45pm Snack time
- 4.45-5.30pm Ongoing activities, play in the garden or games in the gym.
- 5.30pm Home time
Holiday Play scheme
Lewes YMCA offer out of school care throughout the year and the holidays are no exception. Our holiday programme is extremely popular and offers a mix of arts activities, sports, music, crafts, outings, educational projects and just plain old fun!
We now offer a breakfast club, where you can drop your child off from 8.30am and they can enjoy a delicious breakfast of hot waffles and fresh fruit and juice or cereal and toast or crumpets. They are then free to play board games, relax in the book corner , do some art or socialise with each other.

A Typical day
- 8.30 - 9.30am Breakfast club
- 9.30-10.00am Registration, settle in, board games, books or drawing
- 10.00-10.15am Circle time, time to introduce and share a little about ourselves. Talk about our rules and keeping safe. Respect.
- 10.15-11.00am Introduce our activity, and get started.
- 11.00-11.15 am Snack time/Fresh fruit and water provided
- 11.15-12.30pmContinue with activity
- 12.30-1.30pm Lunch time Need to bring packed lunch if staying fruit juice provided
- 1.30-1.45pm Registration for new children and introduce next activity
- 1.45-3.00 pm Get started
- 3.00-3.15pm Snack time, fruit or biscuit and water.
- 3.15-3.45pm Finish off activity
- 3.45-4.00pm End game
- 4.00 pm Home time
Youth Clubs

Club Y - weekly Wednesday night youth club, from 7pm. Please contact Brad Levy on 01273 474599.
Table Tennis
St Michael's table tennis club hold regular coaching and practise sessions every Tuesday from 7.30pm for players of all ages and abilities. New members are always welcomed. Phone John Kemsley on 01273 476807 for full details.
Tae Kwon Do
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 9pm. Children from the age of four to adults have the chance to get active and experience all the fun and excitement that Tae Kwon Do has to offer. Lead by Ken James, 4th Dan master and Daniel Twigg, 1st Dan black belt, these classes are sure to be a great success. Phone Ken on 01273 670415 or 07771 084513 for further details.

Football
Lewes 4-a-side football league is back. The league runs every Thursday 5-6pm for years 7, 8 & 9. If you wish to join in or want to set up a league for an older year group please feel free to call Brad on 01273 474599
Teams can be made up of players from one year group or from across the years stated.
Teams can be made up of 5 players with a roll on, roll off substitution policy. Matches will last 5 minutes each way. All players must wear shin pads and must abide by the rules set down before each match. The league will run up to Xmas and will be updated weekly on the YMCA website. At the end of the year the winning teams and runners up will receive prizes and other prizes will be given out for things such as fair play or golden boot.
Rules
Players or teams who do not obey the rules will be reprimanded and may lose points or be ejected from the league.

Saturday morning football
Drama, movement and song
