Why Support the Lewes YMCA?

Corporate Partnerships
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and your activities within this area have never been higher on the agenda for businesses, your customers, investors and other stakeholders. Community investment offers a measurable means to demonstrate your commitment to the social aspect of corporate responsibility.

The YMCA is a well-established charity, built on 150 thriving years of working with young people. We work to stabilise, excite, innovate and motivate, whilst never losing sight of our central focus of encouraging and inspiring young people to be the best that they can be.
We are committed to offering support and guidance to young people, developing programmes of local relevance and national significance. We are the country's largest provider of accommodation to homeless and vulnerable young people.
The structure of the YMCA allows for a range of partnerships: from volunteers engaging with local associations, to a cross organisation goods drive; from sponsorship of a specific event, to a charity of the year partnership.

Working Together
The YMCA recognises the invaluable support offered by the business sector and always endeavours to work alongside companies in a partnership that embraces creativity whilst consistently working professionally.
We can arrange for staff to visit local YMCAs for a chat to find out more about what we do and to join in volunteering opportunities. The chance to see first hand the difference their support makes to the work of the YMCA will undoubtedly boost staff morale, motivation and understanding of why your company supports the YMCA.
We will provide a dedicated liaison manager to ensure that you are kept up-to-date with the work of the YMCA, and when relevant, to facilitate meetings, events and PR and fundraising initiatives. The corporate team will working together with you to create an opportunities package to match your company's strategy and our needs.
